Senior Manager of Community Outreach
The Senior Manager of Community Outreach is a leadership role in the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association
that reports to the Director of Service, who supports the Program Management Leadership Team. The goal of
the Senior Manager of Community Outreach is to help the Service Director organize and execute community
outreach events. This will set LMLA apart as an integral member of all the neighboring communities and ensure
LMLA is in line with Lockheed Martin’s vision of community outreach. Leadership responsibilities include leading,
coaching, delegating and supporting a team of managers in the execution of LMLA’s value proposition.
Responsibilities specific to Senior Manager of Community Outreach:
• Plan and execute Community Outreach events
o Habitat for Humanity
o Ronald McDonald House
o Adopt-a-School
o Others (Golf Fundraiser & Silent Auction Dinner)
• Assist Director in establishing yearly Service Team budget
• Identify opportunities and present plans to pursue them
Core responsibilities to the Service Team:
• Developing relationships within LM to secure opportunities of growth for members.
• Executing alongside their team, the programs and events from inception through completion.
• Helping achieve the overall strategic vision for the Program Management team.
• Ensuring programs and events exceed LMLA standards with respect to quality, cost, and schedule.
• Always seeking stretch objectives with team to maximize the membership experience.
• Following the necessary processes, visibility, and governance are in place to drive successful delivery.
