Overview:  The Manager of Table for 10 is a key role in the Lockheed Martin Leadership Association, responsible for developing ideas and events for small-group conversations between LMLA members and higher-up employees of Lockheed Martin. This role will collaborate with the Senior Manager of Leadership Events to plan and execute Table for 10 events, providing a unique opportunity for LMLA members to connect with senior leaders and gain valuable insights. 

Key Responsibilities

    • Develop ideas and concepts for Table for 10 events, including:
      • Identifying topics and themes of interest, researching and recommending potential speakers and facilitators, and designing and proposing event formats

      • Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Leadership Events to plan execute Table for 10 events, including:

      • Coordinating logistics and arrangements, communicating with speakers, facilitators, and attendees, and evaluating event effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement

      • Work with the Senior Manager of Leadership Events tor ensure alignment with LMLA’s overall mission and goals

    • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders and other stakeholders to ensure the success of Table for 10 events

Requirements

    • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in developing ideas and concepts for Table for 10 events
      • Show strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders, speakers, facilitators, and other stakeholders

      • Possess excellent organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

      • Demonstrate a strong understanding of LMLA’s mission, vision, and values and ensure that Table for 10 events align with these principles

    • Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions and communications

 

Time Commitment

    • Average 3-5 hours per week, with increased hours during event planning and execution
      • Attend regular meetings with the Senior Manager of Leadership Events to discuss event planning and progress

    • Participate in event setup, execution, and evaluation as needed

 

Reporting Structure

The Manager of Table for 10 will report to the Senior Management of Leadership Events and will work closely with other LMLA leaders to develop and execute event initiatives.

Support and Resources

The Manager of Table for 10 will have access to support and resources from the Senior Management of Leadership Events, including guidance on event planning and execution, as well as access to budget and resources to support event initiatives.
