LMLA Fort Worth College Scholarship Deadline 4 pm. March 12, 2010

If you were an active LMLA member on Dec. 31, 2009 and have a dependent who is a senior in high school or a full-time undergraduate college student, your student is eligible to apply for a $2,000 scholarship. Five scholarships will be awarded.

• Complete the LMLA-FW Scholarship application form
• Provide SAT or ACT scores
• Obtain signature of high school counselor or principal, or registrar if a full-time college student
• Provide official school transcript
• Write a 500-word essay using either of the following titles:
  • My Personal Goals
  • My Professional Goals

Submit all of the above (per instructions within the packet) no later than 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010

In late March, the Scholarship Committee will meet to review each application packet and select the applicants with the highest overall scores. The committee will interview finalists in late April and make the final selection of winners at that time. Winners will be honored at a special LMLA reception to be held at the LM Aero Fort Worth plant in June.

NOTE: Applications received after the 4:00 p.m., March 12, 2010 deadline will not be eligible for scholarships.
