LMLA Goals & Objectives

Forge a New Vision of Success by:

  • Recruiting members from the LM Aero family; Be demographically inclusive
  • Engaging members by building on common threads to create an inspiring environment for personal and professional growth
  • Performing by delivering on commitments while keeping it fun, meaningful, and rewarding

President

  • Ensure the success of each individual on the Organizational Chart
  • Revitalize Communication both within and outside the organization

Executive Vice President

  • Prepare and deliver timely, complete activity reports to the LMLA Board
  • Provide professional development opportunities to the LMLA Vice Presidents and Managers
  • Define and develop a mentoring concept, select a manager and begin implementing by 2003
  • Engage as requested in other duties normally performed by the President, when he is unavailable

Vice President - Programs

  • Develop and promote quality programs that are aligned with LM-Aero and LMLA objectives
  • Develop and Initiate programs that are inclusive and recognizes the demographics of a growing LM-Aero Culture
  • Develop and execute programs in collaboration with LM-Aero, LMLA internal and LMLA across sites
  • Identify and develop programs that encourage participation , promotes growth and awareness across LM-Aero

Vice President - Professional Development and Services

  • To win the Professional Development and the Community Service Awards for our chapter
  • To hire additional SMS and CM instructors
  • Increase the number of classes and seminars that we will provide from 101 to 125
  • Increase the number of CM at LMLA-FW
  • Increase the total number of points for the Professional Development R1, Sections B1 and B6 from 545 points to over 600 points

Vice President - Finance

  • Prepare and deliver timely financial reports to the LMLA Board
  • Successfully remain within budget for the 2002 - 2003 Administration
  • Obtain satisfactory results from the 2000/2001 and 2001/2002 Financial Audit

Vice President - Communications

  • Develop innovative methods of communicating to engage members by building on common threads to create an inspiring environment for personal and professional growth
  • Identify areas of interest for written communication and deliver products that are fun, meaningful and rewarding
  • Improve the marketing of LMLA personal and professional growth opportunities

Vice President - Member Relations

  • Increase LMLA Membership by 15% (465 new members)
  • Develop and deploy the LMLA mentoring program
  • Raise scholarship money
  • Increase L-code participation in LMLA
  • Increase member participation at the LMLA events
  • Develop plans to recruit and retain members

Vice President - Communities and Youth Activities
