Community CPR and First Aid Certification
LMLA is sponsoring a community CPR and first aid certification class on Monday and Tuesday, May 12 and 13 from 5 – 9 p.m., must attend both days.
Location: Fellowship Hall, First Baptist Church of White Settlement; 7801 White Settlement Road, White Settlement 76108.
COST: $55 members, $60 non-members. Friends and family welcome.This fee includes supplies provided in class.
Adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification training covers basic CPR life saving techniques for when someone is having a heart attack or breathing problems. First aid is the provision of limited care for an illness or injury. In this class, you will learn to administer first aid and CPR techniques to resuscitate or maintain life support for Adults, Infants and Children until EMS arrives. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training will be included. Instructor Grant Williams is one of Lockheed Martin’s very own and he has been providing CPR and First Aid classes in association with the American Red Cross for several years.
