Volunteer for American Enterprise Speech Contest
North Texas Council Mini-Leadership Development Conference (LDC) Saturday, July 19th 2008 Aeronautics Visitor Center The North Texas Council is made up of four Chapters from NMA….The Leadership Development Organization. The Chapters are Lockheed Martin Leadership Association (LMLA), Alcatel-Lucent Leadership Association, Boeing Leadership Association and Rockwell Collins Leadership Association. One of the objectives of the North Texas Council is to prepare Chapter leaders for their new offices. The North Texas Council sponsors a Mini-LDC after the National Leadership Development Conferences have been completed earlier in the spring. This year LMLA is hosting the Mini-LDC. The focus of the Mini-LDC will be to provide an overview of the following officer responsibilities, to share past experiences and best practices to effectively lead an NMA Chapter with the incoming officers:
Whatever your role in our Chapter, you will find the Mini-LDC to be informative, giving you the opportunity to understand the operation of an NMA Chapter and afford you an excellent opportunity to meet the LMLA leadership team. I encourage everyone to attend this very worthwhile endeavor as this workshop will provide insight into the successful operation of a Chapter and enable members to effectively contribute to the accomplishments of our Chapter.
